Accomplishments/Turning Points/Self Ideas

Current mood: chipper

As i stare into this empty vacuum of space, i reflect on major turning points/accomplishments/opinions of my life. I'm nearing 27; 3 years shy of completing my 3rd decade, Godwilling (its up to you where to take that number).

Anyway whether you decide it's small or big that's your opinion, though i'm proud to admit that:- i graduated with a high school degree as a B student- i graduated with an Associates Degree- Fashion Merchandising- i graduated with another Associates Degree- Liberal Studies- i moved out at 20 1/2 years old- i moved out to N. CA (where a part of my heart still yearns to live back)- i moved out 7 times (and that's only living in N. CA)- i worked for a big corporate company and admitted to myself that i want to do something more in my life (there, i learned that money isn't everything when working)- i traveled a few times out of the country- i traveled quite a few times out of the state- i can eat at restaurants alone- i can watch movies by myself at a theater- i can go to concerts by myself- i've traveled by myself- i'm happy that i have at Least 5 friends that would stick with me through thick and thin & love me for who I am- i consider myself independent (yet sometimes this can be a bad thing)- i've skydived- i've bungee jumped- i've done white river rafting (and fell off the raft and for those of you that don't know I still don't know how to swim)- i've driven a handful of times to Northern CA to Southern CA in isolation- i completed a 6.2 mile 'military' obstacle course- i ran/walked 26.2 miles - i've done the AIDS LifeCycle (cycled my way from the Bay area to LA)- for 7 days camping each night- i've raised more than $4,000 in contribution for AIDS- i've raised $1,500 in contribution for leukemia & lymphoma- i've raised a few hundred dollars in contribution for diabetes- i enjoy flactuence- esp. around people i care for- my brother and my mom are my closest buddies- i have my Own townHOME- i can drive manual- i change my oil- i've taken so many random classes at the JC- i.e. automotive, afro dance, sewing, vocal, piano, accounting, screenprinting, color theory, CIS, & much more (so that i "know/understand" myself)- i can be professional one moment and completely ghetto the next- i enjoy being 'different'- i care for this world- i went back to school to a junior college to re-obtain all the classes i needed (even though i already took it at a different school)- i love to eat-- esp. different kinds of foods- i love to travel-- esp. out of the country- i love it when my MIND is being stimulated- i can laugh at myself- ....

Now ask yourself this: If your doctor told you, you only had a few months to live, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Write a list of those activities/things.
My challenge for you: Now go out and DO IT.
Live life like an adventure because IT IS ONE (within realistic & responsible boundaries of course).

More blessings to you and yours....
